Wiring Question
I have an 05 FX4 with the audiophile system. I recently replaced the head unit with a Pioneer AVIC-X930BT with a lot help from this forum. Everything is great, but it doesn't seem like the factory sub is working. I bought the correct wiring kit for the audiophile system, but it isn't working.
The amp connector has two blue wires with white stripes and the radio harness has a blue wire with a white stripe and a solid blue wire. All three of the wire with the white stripes are labeled amp turn on and the blue wire is labeled remote antenna. It just seems strange that there are three wires of the same color.
I search the forums before posting this...anyone have any suggestions.

I know many people have been able to get their factory sub to work with an aftermarket radio...what I am I doing wrong. I have done a few installs, but I have never seen multiple wires of the same color on one harness.

Most Blue wires are going to be Amp Turn On or Antenna. They pretty much serve the same purpose, sending a 12V trigger to tell the amp to turn on or the antenna motor to activate. Since you don't have a power antenna, you don't even need to hook up the solid blue wire. There is a possibility that the amp may need two triggers to turn on.
