Question Wiring Connection for Kicker speakers

Trying to install some kicker door speakers on my 2010 F150. I just pulled out the old speaker and found that the connection is different than my kickers. Kickers just have two wires for crimping while door has a plug. Do I need to just remove the plug and crimp the two sets of wires together? And if so does order matter?

You can cut them and add the spade connection crimp ends if you want. Or you can get These.

Yes order does matter. It is called phase.
I would get the adapters. I have used them and they are nice. Especially if u swap out speakers
