You would have to tap it off of the door switch with the remote turn on I would think but I would think there would be a solution for you loosing your chimes??

Mmm, interesting proposition. I know the dome lights tap into the same circuit as the doors. I'll give that a try.

I have been looking for a solution to the chimes thing for a month now.

7 speaker, non sony. I installed the Kicker upgrade speakers in the front and rears. I haven't installed an amp yet. The problem is that it's causing a lot of 'ear fatigue'. Sounds like an unbalanced wall of noise. I prefer a flat response where everything is sitting in the mix and not screaming at me. I actually prefer the stock sound to what i have now with new speakers.

My questions are:
- If i install the Alpine 445u, will the extra power help flatten the noise and be a little more balanced?
- If not, does it mean that i have to get an lc6i to eq everything?

I'm not really into this and want to spend a lot of money. Hoping just the amp would fix the problem. For those that installed them, what do you think?

What Kicker speakers did you use? Generally they will give you a higher frequency sound than the stock ones. I would add an amp and a sub to bring up the low end to even them out.

I'm working on installing the Alpine KTP-445U in my 2016 F150 SCrew (Non-Sony, Has Nav). I also used the Parrot harness to wire it in. I immediately noticed a bunch of noise coming through the speakers. I tried moving the ground to a bunch of different places (including to the radio housing, which Alpine Tech Service suggested) and nothing improved the amount of noise I am getting. I can reduce the volume of the noise by turning down the gain, but it is still there. Aside from all the noise I'm getting, everything else seems to be working fine. Did anyone else experience this with this setup?
