Will the PAC AOEM FRD24 work with the 2011's with the Sony system?

The sony amp is trash. I just tapped off the factory sub wires and plugged them into the high level input on my real amp. Sounds amazing... Doing it this way is the same as a line out converter....

Oh and BTW it is not the same as using a line out converter.
What you are doing now is taking an already amplified signal and boosting it with your new amp.
With a line out converter or preouts on the back of a radio you will be taking a non amplified signal and boosting it. By doing that you are providing a cleaner signal to your new amp.

Good deal. I didn't know that the amp was crappy too. I thought it was just the sub.

So in regards to the PAC AOEM FRD24 harness working with Sony premium system... Doesn't work I just spent all afternoon installing 2 10" CVT's with a Kicker ZX400.1 amp and the sub volume through the amp is NOT controlled through the factory radio. Also I connected the two REAR RCA outputs and didn't get any audio response, front worked, but like I said - Radio doesn't control volume, it's stagnant based on the volume level set on the PAC harness L/R.
Hope this helps someone else from wasting their time!
Going with a high>low line output converter.
