Ok, I have looked on Pac's website and they say that it is for upto the 2010's. They also say that it is not designed for the THX or Sony system is this true? Anyone with experience on this??

I dont think he does. There has to be someone out there that has tried! Pac is apparently not offering it for what ever reason. I figured maybe someone out there had tried and maybe had success? Really curious!!

No one has run into this problem? I haven't even been able to get PAC to respond!

Indeed it does, BUT it also says that it is not compatible with the 2011's so I thought maybe someone had tried. Yes the sony system does already have a sub but it sucks.

If you are happy with the system other than the sub then replace the sub. There are threads here that talk about improving the Sony sub's sound. Most seem to be happy with their results.

Read it & tried it. Still not great To answer my own question finally. All you have to do is tap off of the wires on the factory sub and wire them to your high level input on the after market amp. Sounds pretty damn good! Hopefully this will be able to help someone else since no one could answer my questions.

I wouldn't use high pass at all. Why not try another brand sub in place of the sony sub and still use the sony amp?
