It's not loose, it's held in there with double sided tape, I did not want to drill the hole in my dash

No problem.... With my OCD, seeing that wire, would drive me Insane!

The small hole I drilled, is easily patched, with some Bondo, and some Airbrush paint. Did it in my 12, couldnt tell there was ever a Switch or Bass **** installed!

No it's not. Never been difficult to reach while driving. Just reach down and adjust it without looking. It's safer than reaching over and looking at the radio to change the station.

I had my interior ambient lighting dimmer, in that same spot! On my 2012, wasnt easy for me to reach, in the same spot!

I made sure, it was at the brightness I wanted, before driving off! Just saying, for me (6'1"), it was unconfortable to attempt while in motion.

If it works for yah, cool...

I did not have a trailer brake and didn't really plan on getting one so I thought this spot was perfect for my bass control.
