Where to mount stuff in a 98 extended cab?
Im getting two 10's and an amp from a buddy some time this weekend, and I would like to do a bit cleaner of a install than what I have now.
right now I just have them amp siting under the 40 part of the 60/40 rear bench seat, and the sub is just sitting on top of the seat.
Im not too concerned about having the sub on top of the seat, I might even just fold that side down and leave it, but my biggest question is where is the best place to mount the amp. Is there space behind the rear seat like in other bodystyles, or am I stuck with just having it under the seat?

depending on how big the amp is you might be able to mount it under the drivers seat! my fits under there perfectly. with the seat all the way back you can't even tell its there! lol you might be able to get it behind the backseat. idk id wait for more replies

Well, I got the stuff today in the mail, and I think I'm going to make a box that will sit behind the drivers seat and try to fit the amp behind the seat if I can.
Anyone got any good box building guides/sites?

Mine is only an extended cab so space is at a bit more of a premium, lol
I might try to mount it under the front seat, but I already have all of the wires run to the back so I would prefer to not have to redo them all, but if here isn't enough space I might have to.

Yeah, I want to make it so that the box comes out easily if I need to get it out, yet I need around .75 cubic feet for each sub, So Im not sure how its going to work yet.

i moved all of my wires from the back passenger side to under the drivers seat without a problem. took about 20 mintues or so. just taped all the wires to a straightend out hanger and fed it through to where i wanted it!
