I saw you guys talking about boxes and seat lifts and I have a dual 12 shallow box for 04 to 08 under the seat and I also have a 3 inch seat lift for the rear with all hardware if any of you are interested?

I just finished my install under the passenger seat with my amp. I was worried about the airbag wires so unfortunately it sticks out quite a bit. I actually made two 1" thick blocks and screwed the amp to them and was able to run wires underneath the amp. But those dang airbag wires are in an inconvenient spot! the back seat has lost a bit of leg room. It's difficult in a pick up that's for sure.

Under the front seat if it fits, easy to adjust, good airflow(a must), shorter RCA and power wires, but I've never seen an amp go bad from mounting it to the box, ya just can't hide wires that way.

Don't mount ur amp to ur box. One of the big mistakes people make. The heat from ur amp travels and when it's on the box it goes thru. Plus the bass will nock it loose unless u bolt it.

Computer stores sell really quiet fans for computer cases cheap! Like $3... I bet you could get creative with zip ties and wire one or 2 in with an inline fuse possibly... You could pull the amp "heatsink" cover off and tap some holes to mount the fan that way too... ... If you can get air moving back there, the heat will be carried up and away...
