Gotta a 2012 FX4 with Sony sound system. Where in the heck is the amp? And how big is the amp?

I think it is under the center console.

I hate to say it but Wyo11Scab is right on the money. It IS under the console.

It is not overly large. I am guessing 6" x 10". Just a b*tch to get at.

Ford calls it 700 watts but that has to be the entire system. There is no way that little POS puts out 700 watts.

I am presently trying to figure out how to "cut" it out of my planned audio system (2012 Lariat w/Sony) without too much "hacking" and "splicing".

I am sure this was asked somewhere else,but can you wire in another amp and amplify the amplified??? hmm
