What speakers for my Kicker Amp??
I just got a Kicker 08zx700.5 amp to replace my old Orion one and wanted to get some nice mids and highs to replace the factory ones. The specs on the Amp are the following:
4 ohms: 70 watts x 4 chan.
2 ohms: 85 watts x 4 chan.
I was looking at the Infinity Kappa 6X8 for the back and the Kappa 6.5" Component system for the front since they are rated at 2ohms. Anyone know of anything similarly priced that might be better? I heard Infinity are power hungry and I'm not sure if this Amp will drive them with what they need. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

my 'bird has the 700.5. my front speakers are memphis studio 6.5 coaxials with the inline crossover. my rear speakers are audiobahn 5x7 plates...i got them years ago for $20 new. the sub is a memphis m class DVC 12in....4ohm, the coils are wired in series to 2ohm, so the D class sub section pushes 400 watts.
