Seems like the stock speakers would be severely overpowered by the 3 12's... I know my stock ones would've been...

What year of truck are you in? My stock 07 speakers maxed out low compared to the 65W I have in now

I've had 2 so far. Another one in the works for when I'm ready to be completely rid of my back seat. First was (4) DC Audio M2 8's off a DC 3.5k. Loved the punchiness of them, but was missing the lows that they couldn't hit.

Currently I have a single DC Audio M2XL with Lvl 5 upgrades running off the same 3.5k. The 8's were louder on term lab, but no major noticeable difference to the ear other than the lows. Glorious, glorious loooooowwwws

Oh god. You would see a heck of a difference if you put in a set of good component speakers in there and take out those junk factory speakers. And amp the speakers as well. Trust me money well spent

Haha and I have more power in one of the reference subs than in all three comps combined

This is pretty impressive right here. I couldn't imagine filling my whole back row with subs and having no seating. It's a 4 door regular cab. If you are looking to have another build look into this German Maestro. Their component sets are the best in the world right now and their 8" woofers sound like 12s. It is just amazing what this company did. Awesome sound! They are pricy but if you want a clean build that is heavy this the company...
