What kind of amp should I get for component setup and no sub?
Hello,
I have a factory sync system in my 2010 FX2. I installed some Infinity Kappa components ( ) upfront and some Infinity Kappa 2 ways ( ). I also bought the AOEM-FRD24 (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_18704_PAC-AOEM-FRD24.html) to add a sub to my factory stereo.
So now I need a sub as the head unit just does not push enough power to make these speakers sound great. I am not looking for something super fancy and I dont mind off brands like Soundstorm or Pyle ect. Im not going to competitions. I just want to get good, clear sound and some decent bass out of the speakers.
Based on my speakers, do I want a 2 or 4 channel and how many watts per channel should I be looking at? Do you have any recommendations for sub $100 subs?

I would go with Alpine, Kicker,Rockford Fosgate , JL audio, pioneer, Orion just to name a few. When you look at power rating look at rms not peak or max. Try to match the power of the speakers. Say your speakers are 60w Rms try to get an amp that is at least 45 to 50 rms per channel. There are alot of good amps out there.

I've got a Diamond Audio D7 SQ Amp that will be able to do everything you need/want...and probably a little more. Let know if your interested, I can get some pics and it would be available to ship after the New Year.
This thing has the most user friendly crossovers I have ever used. I used it to power 50w to tweets and 200w to mids for a while and loved it.
Specs:
D7 Series 6-Channel Amplifier
RMS Power Output:
4 Ohms: 50 watts x 6 chan.
2 Ohms: 100 watts x 6 chan.
4 Ohms Bridged: 200 watts x 3 chan.
