Found the 72$ auction. Leaning towards the LC7i to be future ready, that'll be some serious wiring though.

Woow WOOw! Just ordered my parts. I'm in Canada so I order Most of my stuff in the US which translates to a savings of 30-40% give or take and pick it up in NY. I'll update when I get my stuffs!

Yeah definitely the way to go combined with a quality LOC. What did you do with your door speakers.... Have a feeling the subs going to drown out my front end.

The lc7i would be the way to go if you're gonna add another 4 channel later. The lcq1 is also available and it adds an equalizer to tweak the sound

king this is getting out of hand in a hurry! I ordered the the lc7i!

While things are out of hand I've been looking at these speakers and they don't seem to bad with a load of 40w per channel.

Was looking at infinity's or polks but these popped up first. I'm not an audiophile in any sense but I'm not to fond of speakers that are very bright.

Well I pulled the trigger on these. Looks like they retail for $55 if you buy them individually. If they suck I'll replace the fronts.

Replaced and amped the 4 door speakers with focal in the front and fosgate in the rear. I got the add-on remote for the LOC so I can adjust the subs to my mood. You want to show off to your friends turn the **** to the right. You have your baby girl or your grandmother in the truck turn the **** to the left. I highly recommend the remote unless you are just going to put in a small sub to get a fuller sound.

Did you have to splice into the factory harness? Where did you end up mounting it?

I'm about to order my 4 channel amp. Just curious if I need to order some type of connector for my door speakers..... Not sure if my truck has molex connectors or not in the doors.

Something like this:\
Metra 72-5600 Speaker Adapter for Select Ford Vehicles: Amazon.ca: Electronics Metra 72-5600 Speaker Adapter for Select Ford Vehicles: Amazon.ca: Electronics
