What amp and what subs should I get?

i like the 700 better just because it is a few more watts but it depends on what subs your running. The 250 is a little fancier but lacks in power. But I have put roughly 100 to 150 watts per sub to 2 10's with a crossover also hooked up and it was pretty close to as loud as 2 10's that had a 1000 watt 2 channel (which im guessing was pushing right around 300 per sub), and the ones with the crossover sounded a little better.
But probably the 1000

I think Im going to get these subs, crutchfield has a buy one get one free on these subs right now and the reviews on the subs is really good from people who have bought them. Do you think they are a good pair with that 700 amp?

I have never owned polk products my self but I have heard and read very good things from them. I'm no proffesional installer or anything but I have been doing alot of research lately because I'm upgrading my system as well and what I have noticed about speaker is that you want to make sure you have power that will run them at thier RMS levels. Don't try and run them at thier peak power. I may be preatching to the quire here but I'm just learning about this stuff so I thought I would through my two cents in.
