ok fellas so i hve 4 infinity kappa 5x7 (6x8) and on the box it says 4ohms so which am should i get? each speakers rms is 100w so should i get something that pushes 80w rms or something that pushes morethen 100w? any help would be appreciated and let me kno what yall have. thanks fellas as im not very auido inclined

Pretty much any 4-channel amp that puts out 100w x 4 should work just fine. I think you want to match the speaker handling with the amp output as close as you can. Too much under isn't ideal and too much over can damage them.

I agree with statikuz. I have audiobahn abc680v component set in the back doors 6x8's (5x7) rated at 80 rms per speaker 4 ohms . Hooked up to a JVC KS-AX4504 600w 4 channel amp each channel is 65w rms at 4 ohms. I used two channels for the components and I'm going to bridge the last channel for 130w rms at 4 ohms to connected to a 10 or 8 inch sub in the center center console. The JVC wasn't the amp I wanted but it actually worked great with the components, I have always like audiobahn but the amp I wanted was on back order and I'm impatient. SO hope this helps and good luck with your system.

I ran my wires through the rubber grommet in the back doors along side the factory wires. My back doors where ease to do, I'll take a pic today and put it in my album. The front doors for me was a different story. I had origanly plan to put components in all 4 doors but I wasn't willing to drill any wholes in the front to run wires to the speaker so I opted to replacing the front with some 6x8 without an amp and build a custome box in the center console for sub.
