I actually just got a kenwood DDX9702S at Best Buy for $331!!! So that helped the budget greatly. But I can keep Sirius with this. I did my research and I understand what the other guy said earlier now by having to get a tuner. I also just watched a video on installing so I think within time I'm going to purchase the module and harness and adapters and attempt to install it. I'll post pics of the installation when I get the components.

So I'm wondering if all I have to do is buy an additional adapter like the on above to make it work? What's your thoughts?
Yeah I'm pretty sure you can buy the maestro adapter cable for Sirius and it will work, crutchfield for some reason doesn't think it will though.

If I do have the 4.3" screen but don't care about Sirius it will still be costly? I'd like to upgrade my head unit but I don't want to spend 1k to do so

Not having Sirius will probably save you about $70. I always put it in because I don't want to tear the dash apart to put it in if I change my mind about having it.

I forgot to update this when I put it in. It's been about 2 weeks since I've had it now and it works great!
