for 3000w why not a single larger battery under the hood?

I thought about an alternator but man they can get pricey. After I get it set up with a stereo battery might have mine re-wound to take more. Its about half the price.

There is more to a beefy alternator than re-winding them. I had a 220a "HO" alt that was a POS, would cause my highs amps and hids to flicker or power off.

I now have a mechman 270a. Side by side, the mechman is built tougher, larger components, and wow on the weight.
