Default Vm9022hdn

Well I finally ordered one. I also sprung for, back-up cam, center channel speaker, and headrest screens. I hope to get it all installed along with sub and amp this weekend. I will let you know what I come across and pro's and cons after I finish.

Hope all goes well!!

what door speakers are you running, is that a 5.1 unit? and are you amping all your speakers? 5.1's sound amazing but they take a little more work and staging

well i plan to run 5.1. I plan to get Memphis C class 5x7's. Had them in a explorer and they sounded good. Thought about some components for a bit of mid bass in the doors but not sure yet. Dont think I will be amping the doors, as I am only running a 10" JL stealth box.

amp the doors, get components and ditch the jl sub and get a dc level 2, it will be much better staging and the dc has the deep lows you want with the 5.1

The more power= The better sound quality.

Just because you have an amp doesn't mean you have to CRANK the ****.

My .02. If you are putting any work into a sound system other than just replacing the head unit you are cutting yourself way short by not amping the door speakers, heck I amp my door speakers long long before I put a sub in a vehicle....
