I like the idea of the new Fosgate amps. They are small and inexpensive... whoever, since they went public, they are making a lot of their products in china (thus degrading the once superior products (with except to the Power line). I still think they product good products however and the new boosted rail tech is interesting (not really new tech, just new to Fosgate)

This MB is in stock, inexpensive. 60 W/chl... that should be sufficient unless you are all about crazy loud music... and depends on the RMS of the door speakers..

Additionally, if you plan to add a sub later on... you might just want to bit the bullet and buy a 5 or 6 channel amp. This would give you everyone in one easy to install kit.

Love JL... but you pay for it much like the Nike brand name..

looks like a good buy.. I have never used infiniti, but it seems a lot of people on here buy the speakers for their F150's and love them

I've read a lot of good reviews on it. Many people have said to buy it while they last. called sonic not once. not twice. but thrice for opinions. techs said it's a good alternative to the MB quart. it's got more features etc..

so i think I'm going to hit the checkout button.

Why not just get the door speakers and see how it sounds with that? My Pinoeer HU, with similar wattage gets very loud. I've added a sub and it makes the whole setup sound incredible.

If just getting replacement speakers makes you happy, you save cash on wiring and amp and can focus that cash to a sub/amp setup. For what it's worth, the sound from stock speakers to aftermarket speakers is night and day even with a stock HU.

done it may times over and never been completely satisfied with the results. this time around i want to do something more. I work and play in this truck so i want something nice for myself. just not over the top 50 000 watts nice.. lol

I think I've come up with a nice entry level setup that I can build on in the coming months.

I like it! I went over the top on mine... probably spent too much, I think you are gonna be happy with this set up (once you get a sub installed ). This will sound really good, but having some low end (not booming bass) will help... just like in a surround sound system at home.
