Default upgrading a sony sound system? can it be done?

i have a ton of reservations about upgrading the sony system or even changing anything. has anyone made any drastic changes to it and had success? all i really want to do is put 1 or 2 10s under the seat with an amp and simply change out the rest of the speakers with focals. any input is appreciated, i just know the sony system is sensitive and i really don't want to mess anything up

I went with a bit ten...focals, alpine amp and jl sub...sounds awesome. The focals were a bit to bright on the high note side, but was able to tame them with audison software

Easily upgradeable. I had 2 12's underneath the seat and I will be upgrading that to 2 10's underneath the seat. I also replaced all door speakers with NVX speakers for a great upgrade in quality.

I also have the Audison bit ten, focal components up front and JL amps and sub. Definitely worth it. I have the 13.5" sub where the factory Sony was in my supercrew
