Your best option would be the PAC FRD-1.It will plug in and give you RCA's.

The PAC AOEM-FRD24 is plug and play with the factory head unit and gives you two pair of RCA jacks. It lists for$53, but you can find it for less if you look.

Will the FRD24 allow me to keep the SYNC option. I plan on upgrading the HU, all speakers and adding subs. Do I even need the FRD24 with a HU upgrade....

Sorry for the dirty truck and bad photos, I have a really good cell phone lol. I think they have a 6" sub also that I'm sure sounds awesome too. My friend has an avalanche (Poor bastard) and nothing would fit under his back seat. After I got this we tried it and sure enough it fit, and after he heard it he went out the next day and bought one.

The amp, they put on a "rack" system so I wouldn't have to cut the floor mat. Let me know if you want any other pictures or anything else!

The FRD24 maintains all SYNC functions, but that is with the stock head unit. I used it to add a subwoofer. Once you start cutting wires, I have no idea. I would call PAC and ask, and/or search the audio forum - I'm sure the answer is in there somewhere.

If you get a new HU then get a new harness and run the sub from the new HU's sub output

Thanks for the photos. Is it held there by friction? It doesn't slop around on you too much? Looking forward to the sound. It looks like you could use some D plugs, and make the whole thing plug and play, so you could remove it on the fly if you needed the floor space. Hmmmmmm.

All great info, thanks!

One last question for me...I see the PAC has two RCA outputs, how do I go about powering the 4 stock speaker locations AND a subwoofer with this setup?
