Running a five channel was the first option we came up with. I have never had a component set of speakers or amped speakers for that matter so I'm really not familiar with the wiring process. My installer also just started dealing with arc audio and says that there amps are actually under-rated so it will probably actually be putting out more power than stated from the specs. That was the explanation I recieved for the amp of choice, and I hate to question somebody that does this kind of work for a living. I am currently waiting for the install to be finished.

Understood. You should always feel comfortable questioning a "pro" when YOUR money is involved and make them fully explain their approach. Their interests may or may not be in your best interests (e.g. moving certain products to lower their costs tiers, getting familiar with gear at your expense, getting something off the shelf that may be dusty, etc..) Like with anything else (like buying a new truck) it never hurts to get multiple quotes, opinions, and setup options so your a fully informed buyer.
At the end of the day it will sound much better than stock and if your happy with the results that's all that really matters.

Arc makes great amps, some of the best in fact. I've never used their mini amps, but if Robert Zeff had anything to do with them they will be over built and underrated. However, I would still take a 5 channel. Arc makes one last I knew.

Thanks for all the input guys. I agree it will sound 100% better than stock. We are actually having issues getting the screen to attatch to he hu with the supplied face plate, so hopefully that gets fixed. I am very anxious to see the end result, and have a feeling I will be very happy with the end product. I will try to post pics when everything is complete.

It looks like on that amp you can set the front and rear crossovers at different points so you can have the fronts with a high pass and the rear with a low pass. So technically it will work. A buddy of mine has a similar set up with a 4ch mtx amp powering his front components and 1 12" sub and it sounds pretty good. No real need for a 5 ch amp if your not gonna use all 5 channels. I would just make sure he would let you swap it out if you don't like the way it sounds.
