Under-powered amp?
All my audio equipment finally arrived today and I found an installer that set me up with an appointment tommorow. I am supplying everything but the amp. I am having two 10" auditor subs installed in a fox box under the rear seat, with polk 5 1/4" components in the front doors and polk 5x7 coaxials in the rear doors. My concern is that the amp the installer picked out is not going to be strong enough to run my set up efficiently. I hate to question a professional installer so I thought I would get everyones opinion first. Any input is greatly appreciated

I wouldn't recommend powering 4 doors and 2 subs from that amp...are you sure that the amp he's intending to use? I could see that amp plus the Ks500.1 for the subs. I would verify with him again. If the single amp is his intent it makes no sense to me and I would be looking for a new installer.
Tell us a little more about your install. What year truck? Stock HU? Basic or Sony?

My truck is a 2012. The head unit is a power acoustic(I'll post a link). Im sure that is the amp because he showed it to me. When he showed it to me I asked him what amp he wanted to run the subs with and he said he was going to use that amp to run the door speakers on one channel and the subs on the other. I was a little dissapointed when I got home and actually started looking at the amp specs. The install is this morning, and I think Im going to talk to him a little more about his amp choice.

I just spoke to the installer and he said the amp is 125watts by 4, so 500 watts. He said it would be more than enough to power everything. I guess if it isn't I will have him add another amp.

No way that amp is powering all four doors plus subs.... 125w at 2ohm, those components can be wired for 2?

The way I would set this up is to run the component speakers off the front rca outs/front amp channels and the subs off the sub rca outs/rear amp channels and use the HU's high level rear outs for the rears. Which is probably what he is doing.
Sure this will work and the Arc amps are great products but you could do yourself much better with a decent 5 channel amp in that price range. Just my humble opinion.
I was a little harsh on your installer given I didn't have all the facts. Shame on me. Ask him why he didn't want to run a 5 channel...
