This PAC is for adding low level outputs to a sub amp on a factory HU. You need a different harness for a new HU

Just installed the pac in a 2013 with basic cd and sync and the amp and sub work fine. I was a bit worried about it from tge info I have read. Im assuming it only wont work on the new trucks with the 4.2 screen or nav etc..

So It does work with a non navigation 2013 head unit? So much conflicting information I've read and I'm trying to buy equipment for the 2013 non Nav fx4 I have been delivered next week.

For some reason it has been confirmed to work in XL units only with the old style radios. Nothing else

So I'm pretty sure I know what I need to do I just want to make sure,
I have a 2011 screw with the molex connectors which means im not going to be able to run new wires to the doors. Im installing a 5 channel amp,so I would run two sets of rcas to the amp and then run speaker wire from the amp to... what. That is where I get lost. Do I tap in before, in or after the harness. Any help would be appreciated

Actually you can drill a hole in the molex connector along side the factory wires and run your speaker wires to the factory speakers. There is a real good picture of it somewhere on this forum

Now if I don't want to drill into my precious doors what would be an alternative?

You dont drill into the door itself. You drill through the plastic connector, I did as well and ran wire through. The rear doors you dont need to drill at all as there are openings that arent sealed off.
