tweeter question
if i got some aftermarket tweeters....how do you hook those in to your current system without a crossover? or do they somehow have one built in?

It will work. The tweeters are only made to handle certain frequencies. Sending other frequencies won't kill them but it's "better" to not give them that work load. They should be fine though.
