The diagrams I've found have a LF+, LF-, RF+, RF-. There is a seperate input for Nav, but it's got +/- as well.

The Sony amp/DSP is going to increase signal noise just like any piece of equipment. I'm surprised the signal is too low for the Alpine, but you could always use a line driver to increase the signal strength.

Done. The SSI made a huge difference. I didn't have time to fully run Imprint EQ but got it going. The clarity is amazing and that's with minimal tuning. I'm expecting great things from it. Added the RUX controller as well. I'll get some pics up later.

Etazeta,

How are you liking the alpine unit so far? I just installed mine about two weekends ago and am still tuning. I used the audio control LC8i to sum the fronts and ran everything else straight through. Do you have any noise when you turn the alpine volume up high?

I'm loving it. I too have more tuning but it's going to be worth it. Upgraded doors to Focal so I'll start over with tuning. I do have some hiss but only when it's cranked up. What % is your HU volume and what volume do you run the Alpine?

Ugh I wish I kept my pxah-701..It's still sought after by car audio enthusiasts...I had it hooked up to an Aline dvd player that you could control it with amazingly..Then to Diamond comps all around and a few PDX amps...I miss it. I need to get on my install...

Ive tuned the LC8i at a HU volume of 6 less than max and to keep any hissing out of the system, I keep the Alpine at -27 dB and turn it up if I need it louder. What are your volumes?
