Started with the Audiocontrol LCQ-1, didn't care for it. It is basically a summing device with minor EQ ability.

Moved up to JL Cleansweep. HUGE difference but only provides a flat signal and really needs the master volume **** to work properly. Would need an EQ of some sort to add if adjustments are desired.

Alpine PXA-H800 will be delivered in about an hour. Everything is ready to plug it up. This thing appears to take all my other components to the levels I am looking for. Can't wait to load the PC software and tune this thing.

You will not be disappointed. Just make sure you get the RUX controller! Without, your functions are limited...... I made that mistake the first time I used the unit.

As for functionality and SQ, I would put it on par with the Bit-One.... Okay, maybe a tad bit lower, but it is on a different level than the MS-8 and most factory integration DSP's

You should try the Arc Audio PS8. Im sure thatll do what you need and more.

The specs on that thing seem to good to be true, but I agree.... it looks awesome. Just wish Rockford had a littler better name is SQ. Hopefully, this DSP puts them back into the thick of things!

I'm a little pissed. It sounds pretty insane - LOTS of tweaking left. But here's the thing... to use it with the factory stereo you are forced to use the RUX controller. Which of course I didn't order and it's $250. So for now unless my laptop is plugged in I am riding in silence.

You would think it would work without controller as long as your settings saved.
