Default Too many speaker choices?!?!?

My head officially hurts. There are too many 6x8 speaker choices. I'm going to be running them off of the factory 6-disc in my 11' FX4 Supercrew. Can somebody please help me make a decision!

Infinity Reference 6832cf: $55.00
JL Audio C2-570: $97.00
Kenwood C6893: $37.90
Kicker KS680: $69.00

Are any one of those going to be that much better than the other? All prices are shipped.

You can't buy speakers by their reputation-- just like nobody can pick your food at a restaurant. It has to satisfy you! Listen to candidates and let your ears decide.

Unfortunately not really an option. The Best Buy selection SUCKS, and the local stereo shop doesn't have a listening station. That and they want to force feed you an installation and crazy high prices.

Since I won't be adding an amp, it looks like the Infinity speakers may be the best bet at 2 ohms and 93db sensitivity. Or I could upgrade to the Kappas for $87 shipped....

I have had Infinity Kappas in my Accord for years they are amped by a 4ch Fosgate. Sound amazing and are bullet proof. I will definitely consider these when I go to swap my stock one out

I like the infinitys there a little crisper and a tad brighter than the rest... The jl would be my second choice. Have u looked at higher end stuff like cdt and image dynamics?

The Crutchfield web site will identify speakers that will fit. Amazon.com generally has good prices.

Sonicelectronix.com had a "make offer" button under the Kappas. They were priced at $111.xx, I offered $80 on a whim, they came back at $87.00 so I pulled the trigger. The 6x8 Reference series were $89...? Guess I scored.
