I personally wouldn't mess with kick panels. Just put a good set of components in the doors and feed them a lot of power.

i already have a set of qlogic kick panels for the truck.. picked em up for 25.00

Wow that's cheap. You could also look at doing a three way component set instead of two two ways.

I have Polks installed but there are many that use Infinity, Alpine, Pioneer and others. It depends on your budget.

I think i figured out what I can do and stay in my budget.... Kenwood 5x8 600 watt per pair 4 way sets.

then kenwood component in the kick panels.

anyone have experience with kenwood.. bad or good

I would spring for Kenwood's excelon line at least.

i dont think i can get the ones i picked anyway.. some sites have them listed as 6x9 while others say 6x8...

ill havta search see what our exact cut out is on our door, cause it does give me that.

Ours are 6x8 openings like Fords have been for years. Just check the model number back against Kenwood's website to be sure. Most manufacturers put "68" somewhere in the model number.
