you'll have plenty of bass and distorted music. trust me, when i was younger and bought my car i wanted nothing but bass. bought a 15" sub and big amp and it's exactly what i got with crappy mids and highs. the stock speakers are pretty much garbage.

you still can run a set of speakers with that amp i suggested along with 1 sub and still get great power.

I'll definitely think about just doing 1 amp and upgrading all speakers, but ill be getting a bass ****, so i can just keep it low but in times when I have the random feeling to just completely thump as loud as i can i'd like to be able that too. Hah

I understand, that does make sense. thanks!

Yanki01's suggestion of a 4 channel amp, a pair of components, and a single sub is also a good one and will give you a better all-around sound. MBQuart and Hifonics make large 4 channels that would give you 100-125w each for your components and 4-500w for a sub. If you go with a single sub I would look at something a little better than the jlw0. Maybe a w3 or a Dayton HO or a sundown e 10 or e12 depending on what you can fit

Like other have said you'll be majorly underpowering these subs with the amp you picked out. If you have your heart set out for these then either buy just one sub and one amp, or buy two of those amps one for each sub.

You could probably get away with this amp if you wanted to stick with JL but it's $420:

Your optimum with those subs however is this one(staying with JL):

but it's pushin 8 bills and if you're spending that much on an amp why half-**** it over the subs.

This is starting to make me rethink all of this. Hah I really want to get two 10s of a quality brand but apparently kickers have gone down hill lately so I'm not sure what to do. Thanks for your advice!

You can get quality sound without spending alot of money, I was just assuming that since you're picking out only JL audio stuff that you want to stick with them as much as possible.
I have Rockford Fosgate in my truck and I think I've spent maybe $400(only 1 sub though). Now will you or I be entering competition sound offs, no; but I thump and get good enough bass with what I have and so can you. Now if you want competition stuff then price shouldn't matter.
