Thoughts on my system, before I pull the trigger
I just wanted to hear everyone's thoughts on my new system before I purchase everything. I have a 2012 Screw FX4 with the luxury package (sync without nav or sony speakers)
Front speakers-Hertz HSK 165 component speakers
Rear speakers-Hertz HCX 165 2 way coaxial speakers
Sub with enclosure-Hertz EBX F25.5 (hoping this will fit behind the rear seat)
Amp-Hertz HDP5 950W 5 channel amp
Line driver- Cache CLOC+D (not sure if this is the best one to use)

I don't expect the sub to fit there. If by chance it does you'll most certainly lose full seat functionality (like raising and locking). Also I'd consider Audiocontrol over Cache. Just my 2 cents.

Doesn't your sound ordinance fit behind your back seat? The Hertz sub enclosure is only an inch thicker then the sound ordinance

For what it's worth, Custom Car Stereo in Houston recommends the Audison Bit One. It's about $1000 though. I still haven't pulled the trigger on a system. I may just stay with stock. OP, I have the same truck with the same system as yours.

You can still pick it up from sonic eletronic or a few other dealers. I know a couple guys on DIYMA that have them for sale for around 180. The Alpine C701 or H800 are alot higher end but run from 500-800.
IMO the bit one is overrated for the money, along with the MS-8. I've heard both at a few shows and I prefer the H800 for the options and config controls. Also, I hate the controller that comes with the bit one and ms-8. The alpine controlls are single DIN HU faceplates.

I think I'm going to ditch the Hertz enclosure and go with the single downfire 10" bedlined atrends sub box and run a Hertz HX250 10" sub. I didn't want to lose any floor space, but the atrends box doesn't seem to bad only being 26" long
