Default Thoughts about my upgrade

I'm thinking about adding some more oomph to my stereo. I went from a focus with a head unit upgrade to a 2016 xlt screw with sync 3. I find the overall sound lacking. No bass at all and the overall sound is flat. So here's what I'm thinking.

Amp: soundstream picasso nano PNC. 640 https://www.amazon.com/Soundstream-PN5-640D-Picasso-5-Channel-Amplifier/dp/B00G051S7I

Sub enclosure: Pioneer UD-SW250T 10" shallow mount sub enclosure for behind the rear seat https://www.amazon.com/UD-SW250T-Frontfiring-Enclosure-TS-SW2502S4-Subwoofer/dp/B00MGAGDK8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1470268251&sr=8-1&keywords=UD-SW250T
I think it will fit.... barely

Sub: Pioneer TS-SW2502S4 sub https://www.amazon.com/PIONEER-TS-SW2502S4-10-Inch-Shallow-Mount-Subwoofer/dp/B0054REBYK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1470268409&sr=8-1&keywords=SW2502S4

I'll be using a parrot wiring harness. The amp will drive the 4 door speakers and the sub. Any downside to this setup? I don't want to blow out the windows, just fill out the sound.

Also, how is the center speaker driven? Is it parallel or series with the front doors or is it a separate feed? Should I even worry about it?

The only thing I have purchased so far is he harness.

Reviews on the amp are good and Amazon has a good return policy.
Don't know about the sub fitting behind the seat. Mine are always under the seat.
Don't connect the center speaker.

I can tell you by experience that just adding a sub will free up a lot of power for the door speakers, which should be one of the first things you do.
