Default Is there a crossover that controls my front stage?

In my '05 lariat supercrew it appears I have a 6x8 and a tweeter in each door in the front. Is there a crossover that controls these from the factory or are they just wired up running a bunch of frequencies through them that aren't supposed to be?

Separate tweeters will have some sort of crossover or else they would be toast when hit with low frequencies. They could be built into the driver itself, its counterpart mid-woofer, in the factory amp if you have one, in the head unit or a separate module somewhere. Do you have the Audiophile system?

In an 05 audiophile, you should have a 4" mid and a tweeter in each front door. The Crossover and Mid combine to fill the 6x8 location.
