I can't remember it was a amp wiring kit that came with the soun ordinance sub from Crutchfield.

I would replace that wire with a heavier one from the battery to a distribution block and use the crutchfield wire to go to your amp and sub

Thanks everyone, I had a minute yesterday to check my setting on the sub and was able to adjust the low pass frequency to about 80db and that helped a lot! Eventually when I have the extra cash, I plan on getting the amp.
