Default aftermarket stereo with sync...

I have a 2009 F150 XLT with sync and was wondering if anyone has used this wiring harness....

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_541MSFR...=detailed_info

I was just wondering how good it was. I am looking at getting an aftermarket stereo sometime soon, I upgraded all four of my speakers so far and plan on doing subs and an amp after I upgrade my stereo...

Any comments or thoughts would be cool.

I have the PAC MS FRD1 and it is perfect. Works flawless! You don't really need the crazy LCD screen if you also get the Steering Wheel Adapter from PAC because you can just control everything by voice command. As far as adding an amp, PAC makes an adapter to add an amp to OEM radio, but currently I'm trying to figure out if it can be used to add an amp to after market HU

I was the same. Replaced door speakers with Polk db571, installed PAC OEMFRD 24 for input to a powered sub. Not top of the line but certainly fits my needs and I am happy with the sound. Everything still looks stock. Overall a fairly easy install. Hardest part was getting power wire through the firewall. Total time was around 4 hours.

A good place to start in Crutchfield. Enter your truck info and it shows what fits and has reviews. Buy from them or elsewhere.

I used the pac harness for my kenwood dnx 7180, it works very well and comes with great instruction for a DIY project from crutchfield. I have found though that i dont even use the sync function because everything on the kenwood works just as well for me plus i dont have an audio in connection on the radio so sync wont even play my music but i aint sweatin it i stream all my music with parrot bluetooth no problem. All in all its a good harness i got it on special for 100 bucks when i ordered my radio from crutchfield.
