System question
Hey guys new to the forum, I should have pics up of my truck tomorrow. I have a 2001 supercrew f150 4x4 5.4. That was useless info for the question i have to ask but just letting you know. I was wondering if they have sub boxes for L7 kickers on this model truck. Also where can i mount an amp? I would prefer not to screw into the plastic... I just dont like doing that stuff, but if I have to I will. Thanks in advance.

I don't see any that are square, but that wouldn't be hard to cut out a little bit.

you better get the biggest box possible haha if you're not going to give those speakers the right amount of air space, which will either mean you take out your back seat or you put a big ***** box on your back seat, then get different subs. The most important thing is meeting power/air requirements.

You are going to be hard pressed to get an L7 under you backseat due to the size of the sub and the airspace requirements. best bet is to find a shallow mount sub or build a box big enough for the L7 and just sit it on your backseat.

the l7's arnt all that great as it is..there decent subs i suppose but there are lots lots better out there...check out the dc sound lab level 2 10"....they fit on the 2004+ models, but idk the mounting depth you have on 2001

i got 2 10s they fit and sound good and i can still lift the back seat to clean play up or whatever i want with 12s u probably wont be able to lift the seat and have to fix the seats with a 2 or 2.5 inch seat lift but depends on what u want
