System Help..
Ok so i have 2 12 inch memphis c3 that are 600 rms and 1200 peak. They are dual voice coil 4 ohm in a ported box. The amp im running is a kenwood 9105d that is 500 watts at 4 ohms and 900 watts at 2ohm load. My question is what would be the best way to wire these subs? I have them wired at a 8 ohm load right now i think. i have on both subs one positive going to a negative and the other positive and negative going to the amp. It sounds so under powered and not loud enough. I wired it at 2 ohms also and it still did not sound right. With 900 watts going to each sub at 2 ohms you would think that it would be incredibly loud but it wasnt. Please help i need as much help as i can get lol thanks.

no no bro from what i'm reading that AMP is not powerful enough for your 2 subs. Here is the specs.
1800 Watts Maximum Output Power
500 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (900 watts x 1 at 2 ohms)
1-ohm stable (output regulated to 900 Watts)
1800 is the MAX it can hit as far as short periods of BASS
500W RMS is what it can continuously do at 4ohm. Depending how you got it set up your either splitting half of 500W to each sub that would = 250W or splitting half of 900W which would be 450W to each sub which I think your splitting 500W to each sub this AMP is not powerful enough bro for your 2 memphis monster subs. You will hear a bigger difference if you hook up one sub at 500W @ 4ohms vs 2 subs together because your using all available wattage on that 1 sub. Now If you were to buy another one of these amps hook it up to the other sub then you would be able to hear a HUGE difference in BASS.

If the subs are dual 4 ohm, you can wire them up to 8 ohms each and then back to 4 ohms together. If the amp is 1 ohm stable, I would wire them down to 2 ohms each then down to 1 ohm together. That would give you the max continuous the amp could do. To get the 1 ohm, wire the positives on all the sub connectors together and the negatives together.

what amp do you guys suggest i get with these subs? i heard the rockford fosgate 1000.1 would be good but i need a good amp that will put out enough watts for 4 ohms since its a 4 ohm sub..
