I am looking at about the same setup, with jl speakers and 4 channel amp...however, like the above poster, i agree you should be looking for something in double din. Save up a little more money, and buy a badass double din one, that way, you don't itch for a replacement soon, get the one that is going to be your last one is my opinion...

peace

Go to sonic electronix web site. I have a JVC AVX810 double din unit I bought from there for 399 shipped. 7" touch screen with dvd and rear usb for ipod. Crutchfield sells same unit for 450 or so. But they will ship you the master sheets. Me I saved the money and googled the info.

The "DIN" is the size of the head unit . a single din is smaller than a double din. go to crutchfields web site and enter your truck info it will tell you what size your truck will take. like mine will take a double din unit OR a single with the install kit that includes a storage pocket. Me I like the double din. todays systems and touch screens it;s the way to go ...

Crutchfields web site also will help you with the terms used the stereo world. like DIN, check it out

Dascon, does your unit have GPS with it? I really love the looks of it. and is the only way to get one that wont stick out of the dash to get one that is not motorized?
