Default Sync

My sync is wigging out.

In USB mode, if I press next track (button, not voice), it'll keep going and won't stop. This is new. It is intermittent. It's sort of a PITA.

Suggestions? Reset Sync? Is it something with my iPod?

Do you have the newest Sync version? Go to syncmyride.com if not.

thanks. I checked. It is the latest version.

It's worse now. It won't play my ipod. just constantly skips to the next track.
I have yet to use the itunes Sync checker tool. I will tonight.

I pulled the fuse on it earlier. Same problem still exists.

by the way... is this question/thread in the wrong forum on this site?

Technically it's in the right spot, but hardly anyone is ever here. The 2009+ model forum is where you'll probably get more answers, if you can keep the thread from sinking to the depths.

Can't really help you with your Sync issue. I haven't had any problems with mine *knock on wood.

Do the voice commands work? Are you using the steering wheel controls or the dash controls? Does it do the same thing with both. If you can get it to partially work again.

*Edit, technically (again) this is the aftermarket part of the forum, and Sync is factory. If I were you I'd check out the 2009+ forum, do a search and see if someone else has had the issue.

I agree. I'm going to repost there.
