Default swi-ps wheels control for 2008 help please

http://pac-audio.com/SWI/SWIAppGuide...eer&swiOptions=
i dont understand this
Connect the SWI-PS's White wire to pin 18 (Lt. Blue/Red) of the above connector.no problem
Connect pin 19 (Green/Orange) to ground.this makes no sence do i cut the wire from the harness and ground it with the 2 black wires or what ?

not sure why link doesnt work not but the issue is that the swi pi wires go red goes to red
black to black
then white to blue/red from vehicle harness in pin 18
then it says pin 19 to ground.. so do i cut thi/s wire from harness and run it to a ground..doesnt seem right to me am i thinking this wrong ?
anyone done this for a 2008..

Pin 19 is the steering wheel signal return, it needs to show a ground, so connect the truck side of the wire to ground.

Yes, I did the axxass one but it was the same deal. I cut the sw signal wire on the truck harness and then cut the the wire they told me to ground and ground it to the same ground as I used for my HU. It kind of sucked to get a harness so I could plug and play and then ended up having to cut 2 wires on the truck harness side. I did cut the wires so I could resolder them back if I wanted to go back to stock.
