Supercab rear speakers?

Supercab rear speakers?
Hey I just got the 09 stx and was going to replace stock speakers myself. I understand the front door, but not the rear, since it's smaller, is it the same 5x7's that go in there? The speaker portion is smaller than the front on the outside
By the way I was thinking of getting the Polk dxi570. Was thinking about the references from infinity and crutch field does have a deal going on but they're all sold out and I don't wanna dish out 250 for the kappas.

I'm not sure if this will answer your question. But I replaced my front speakers 1st(kickers). Then a month later I got some way better pioneers. I wanted the better ones in the front, so I put the kickers in the rear, and pioneers in front. Same size on all 4 doors. I have an scab by the way. Not a supercrew.

Nice thanks, yes that helps I ordered some infinity ref 8602's from crutch field cause they got a deal going on right now. I ordered the same ones for front front and rear so I'll see how that goes.

Yea, the holes are the same. I'm not sure about the depth, but I don't think it should be a problem, especially if you put a some foam or something between the speaker and the door sheet metal.
I used some boom mat and cut out the bottom so it would not constrain the bass.

Yea. A good 6x8 might need some extra porting than the boom mat provides if it has enough oomph. It's safer to have extra space than to confine it in too little space. You don't want a 10" woofer in a tiny box or it will "constrain the bass".
