I think you would be pretty happy with the type-r. You would probably kill the sd-2s with 1700w in a ported enclosure. Might be a bit much for the alpines too.

Thank you so much! Can you think of a better sub?
I'm willing to build a box if i need to. I live in Guam so getting a seat lift is a difficult . I had an old 15L7 small ported in a Tacoma(only 400w kicker amp) , how do the the 2 alpines in the fox box will compare?

I can think of LOTS of better subs, but not many that will fit in that box. Depth is limited and most of the subs i would recommend are too deep

Up to 6 inches in the foxbox... But having a full sized sub is more than the box can handle.. A serious sub beats the box apart... Mine rattles and i cant figure out where... Thats with RE Audio SRX 10D4's

I have two JL 10w3v3 in the box with a Rockford fosgate t500, I make the neighbors mad. They can Handle plenty of power and are also recommended for that box.

Okay, so I have decided that I am willing to do the seat lift. What subs can I fit under the lifted seats of my 2013 Screw that I can do a ported box with 1700wrms

I ran the 1st Gen 15L7 and I loved it back in the day! I'm feeling L7s, any thing better than 2 10L7s ported? That can fit under a 2013 Screw seat lifted about 2 inches???
