Sundown Audio SD3 12"
#11
When I built my box I just went by what the prefab looked like then went at it. I mismeasured a little and had to do a band aid fix but it all worked out in the end. All the prefab boxes used 5/8" mdf and the manufacturer recommended 3/4". So I had to bui5my own.
I'd show pics but I'm in a 10th gen so it wouldn't do you any good. I'm just trying to help as little as that may be. I think with one 12" you could make a box like a dual sub to get the airspace without raising your seat. Isn't that kit over $100?

I am not too worried about airspace, my last box had about 2 cu. ft. which was for 2 x 12" Kicker CVTs. The main concern is going to be the mounting depth of the SD3.
Here's some shots of the old enclosure.
