So i ordered a SO B-8PT and this sub is awesome for me, it added the extra bass to the rock and country i listen to but fit nicely under the rear seat in the rear storage.

Well I have everything installed besides the sub and il do that next week sometime. It already sounds a hundred percent better and these speakers will blow my ears out. I can't even turn it up half way..I need to do a little fine tuning once my sub is in and I'm sure it will sound badass!

Just built a box for my '06 screw with an 8" 4ohm Kicker.....she hits really well, powered by a 1000 watt Kenwood amp, bridged: puts out 500watts. I recommend it!

There was a thread very recently here regarding the SO 8" powered sub. Originally I was going to do a single 12" shallow mount in a supercrewsounds box under the rear seats powered by a 5 channel amp, but we use the full rear floor space a lot in our truck. I really liked the idea of using the space behind the rear seats, so I ended up ordering the SO sub, an additional SO 4 channel Amp (for my all ready replaced door speakers), and additional amp wiring kit from crutchfield. If I end up needing a bit more bass, I'll pick up another one.

I also picked up the PAC AOEM FRD-1 from Ebay.

I plan on picking up some sound deadening material too, but funds are a bit tight. Now I have to decide if I'm going to wait to install the components until I get the material, and do it all at the same time, or take everything apart twice.

Which would you do?

Having done this the absolutely hardest way possible in the name of science. Try to do it all at once. It's well worth it.

Well I was finally able to finish the install this past weekend and I must say this sounds amazing for my tastes and sounds far far better than stock. The little sub fills all the bass I need it to and the new amplified speakers can definitely ring my ears louder than I want it to be and I am 24 year old. I would have to say an excellent value for a total package cost of 500 to my door not to mention excellent customer service from crutchfield!
