The unit looks awesome, however, I would not to see a microphone on my roof nor do I want to have useless buttons on my steering wheel. What (if any) navigation units are compatible with the aforementioned factory equipment?
I have full function of everything on my steering wheel.. My microphone is either on my dash or the upper "A" pillar.. Haven't seen my truck in 5 months now.. I'm sure with adapters you could use factory installed components.. I have used maps from a tom tom before with no issues..

Crutchfield tells me I need both the tuner and adapter to Kenwood DIN.

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_700SIRK...d-Package.html

Why wouldn't just the adapter work. Are they just trying to sell more than I need or will the Ford Sirius tuner not connect to the adapter box.

Any help with this will be appreciated. Thanks.

I think the Pioneer Nav units are the best on the market. THe avicx930 is awesome or the avicz130 for a bigger screen. Their interface for iPod and nav is the quickest on the market. Kenwood makes awesome units and they have Garmin as their nav interface. As for your steering wheel controls PAC Parts makes a unit SWIRC for about $80 that you can integrate with just fine. As for the Sirius you will need two parts with whatever brand you choose. You will need a SCC1 which is the antenna and sirius "brain" , and a proprietary integration piece to talk to the unit. You are looking at about $120 in parts retail. Unfortunately there is not a way to integrate the ford sirius pieces into aftermarket. Hope this helps!

Those are not the right parts for a Kenwood double din nav unit. The SCC1 is correct but the ken wood cable you need is the CASR20V.
