Will a subwoofer work with the sony xplod cdx-gt24w? What other additional parts will I need. I know i need the subwoofer, but do i need an amp or any other wiring??

Also would it be possible to mount all of it behind my extended cab seat? I have a 2002 excab.

the xplod is your radio correct? yes you need an amp. go to Walmart or best buy to get one. probably for just one sub a 400 or 500 watt amp will do. make sure you get a wiring kit as well that comes with your power, ground, remote wires and RCA's to plug into the back of your radio.

I don't see why it won't fit behind there. you will probably have to place your sub under your seat. but you need to find a box that will fit your sub underneath your seat. you can pick a box up at best buy not sure about Walmart.
