Default subwoofer info?

I decided to go with 2 10" Alpine Type S subs under the back seat and a 600 watt amp on the back wall of my '06 crew cab. I was wondering if anyone has used these subs and what they thought of them. I've used Alpine before and was very pleased so hopefully they sound good.

To be honest, I had the Alpine type Rs in my vehicle before, and I wasn't too thrilled with the sound... They just weren't clean enough. That was 2 years ago, so maybe their newer models are better...
I now have 2 10" DC Audio Level 2s with a 1000w Crunch amp, and it hits hard =) I'm pleased with the way they sound.
If you're happy with your Alpines, then that's all that matters =)

Thanks for the information guys. I've seen a lot of people mention DC Audio subs on here. I haven't looked in to them at all. Are they really that good?

Are you going to get a downfiring system?

Nice. Yeah, it will be down firing. They're going in a fox acoustics box.

Not hot on Alpine subs myself. IMO, they should stick to making headunits since that's what they do best.

^^^ lol, i agree. I have an Alpine head unit...
yeah, I have the downfiring system as well... because the frame absorbs the bass from the outside, it sounds amazing on the inside, but it's not obnoxiously loud on the outside =)

i have and just installed two dc 10's in a stealth box under the scab seat - sounds good and i agree w/ raider that downfire sounds good in the f150's with the sound reverbarations inside truck. i don't blow my ears out but i do enjoy nice clean sound...
