Default Subwoofer decision

Was planning on ordering a JL Audio 10W3v3-4 but have been reading the DIYMA forums and have seen this one mentioned quite a few times Sundown Audio SD-3 10 4D. Man this audio system upgrade seems to change the more I read. Never thought it would be this time consuming and I am just in the decision making process. I am now leaning more toward ordering the Sundown sub. Decisions, decisions, decisions...

I didn't see him mention his amp. Is his amp capable of handling a 1-ohm load?

I am planning on purchasing the Alpine PDX-V9 if that makes a difference. I am open to all suggestions.

I have 2 sd-3s running on a kicker 1200 amp and they sound amazing. I would recommend these subs to anyone.

I'd definitely go the SD3 route if you can get them to fit. Sundown makes a solid sub and the price is right. The 5" mounting depth is too much for us 15+ guys to work with behind the seats so the JL will have to do in my case. Goodluck!
