Default Subs recently installed | battery dead

I recently got my new subs put in along with an amp but my truck failed me last night and had to be jumped off. Is this due to the new subs and such or did the battery just so happen to go out at this time. And also, what fuse is the best to plug into for the amp. The installer had it plugged into the blue 15 in the fuse box but I heard there are better places

Is the amp turning off when you turn off the truck?

I bet they did that, do you have an aftermarket unit or stock?

I don't know what they hooked it up to and I'm not one to get deep into wires but from what I've heard from friends they believe just the wrong fuse was used, which fuse should I rewire it into. I firmly believe the problem is just here, i think if the correct fuse would've been used then the subs would've cut off in time and not killed the battery

Appreciate the info but it depends on the year. Turn on is controlled by the Canbus on newer trucks, etc. and it needs to be tapped into the fuse box.
