Default Replacing stock speakers , plug and play or no ?

Hey guys I ordered some alpine 6x8 replacement speakers for my 2010 f150 xlt and was wondering if I need some special adapters or can I plug and play. If someone could please post a link to ebay or crutchfields with what I would need it would be much appreciated ! Thank you .

This^ if you change all 4 speakers. When I ordered them for my speaker swap I didn't see that and ordered 4 thinking one each to a pack, hadta send the extra back for credit.

incorrect. when you have the sync/sony system and the tweeters are in the pillars, only a midbass signal gets sent to the doors. the highs get sent to the pillars. this would make you tweeters in your new speakes useless. but since you dont have tweeters in the pillars, then you dont need to worry about it. also, those adapters will not fit the tweeter connections.

I'll question this statement. http://www.intyss.com/downloads/2010F150AUDIO.pdf *scratching head*, but I dont know what the DSP actually does. So, never mind my statement, I don't know . . . But keep yourself entertained with the wiring diagram, the colors may be of use to you

Apparently you didn't comprehend the OP's question, he asked about door speakers NOT pillar speakers.
